Florida Problem-Solving Court Certification Program

Background

Florida Supreme Court Administrative Order No. AOSC23-89 adopts the Problem-Solving Court Certification Program. The goal of the certification program is to ensure that Florida’s problem-solving courts maintain fidelity to evidence-based best practice standards, enhance problem-solving court operations statewide, and improve participant outcomes. The certification program also provides an opportunity for problem-solving courts throughout the state to be recognized for their professionalism and successful implementation of best practice standards. 

Implementation will begin on July 1, 2024 with a pilot program of up to six adult drug courts designed to test the program prior to full implementation. The certification program will subsequently be expanded to other problem-solving courts contingent upon available resources.
